A retailer processes about 300 invoices every month. Each invoice has to be read and logged into the accounting software. First, the company is looked up in the system. If it is a new company, the company information is searched on the EU VAT check website and a new company profile is created in the accounting software. Finally, each invoice is logged into the system.


Solution

We built a digital robot to automate the invoice processing. The robot opens and logs into the accounting software and the EU VAT check website. Then, the robot reads the invoices from a folder, searches the company information, creates new company profiles if needed and enters the invoices in the accounting software.

The robot saves about 10 hours of manually work every week. The invoices get processed very quickly and with no data entry mistakes.
